The Shire of Cuballing is an agent for the Department of Transport’s Licensing Services. Opening hours for Licensing Matters are from 8:00am to 4pm Monday to Friday. For detailed Licensing Information, please visit www.transport.wa.gov.au .
Licensing Services the Shire of Cuballing can provide include:

- Drivers Licence Renewals and New Drivers Licence Photos
- New Vehicle Registrations including updates to existing Vehicle Registrations
- Learners Permit (must have Keys for Life Certificate)
- Interstate Drivers Licences and Vehicles
- Some International Drivers Licences (Depending on Recognised or Un-Recognised Country)
- Drivers Licence Concessions
- Vehicle Concessions
- New Vehicle Licence Plate Applications including the Shire of Cuballing local authority plates
- Plate Changes and Plate retention
- Vehicle Movement Permits

Shire of Cuballing Local Authority Plates
The Cuballing Local Authority Plates (Numbat Design) can only be ordered through the Shire of Cuballing. When choosing a number you may like, please ensure to give staff numerous choices of numbers to ensure there is a high chance of obtaining the design you want. Please also complete the Cuballing plates form by clicking here and return to the Front Office where the plates can be ordered. The plates currently cost $225.00.
2025/2026 Fees and Charges
Boat Renewals and Boat Transfers can be dealt with at the Shire of Cuballing Office. Any additional transactions (Update to Boat Information, New Boat Registration, etc) will need to go through the Maritime Department at the Department of Transport.
