Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Shire of Cuballing has prepared the above-mentioned planning scheme amendment. The amendment proposes a number of changes to the Scheme text to address the Model Scheme Text, address emerging planning issues and assist in creating an effective and efficient local planning system. The Shire of Cuballing has resolved to make a local law relating to the keeping of Cats. The purpose of the proposed Cats Local Law is to encourage responsible cat ownership and to provide for the effective management of cats within the Shire of Cuballing. The effect of the proposed Cats Local Law is that persons who own or keep a cat within the Shire of Cuballing are to comply with the provisions of this local law. A copy of the proposed law may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire of Cuballing, 22 Campbell St, Cuballing WA 6311, between the hours of 8.30am and 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Extension of the Restricted Burning Period

It is hereby advised that, in accordance with Section 18(5) of the Bush Fire Act (19540, the end of the Restricted Burning Period for the Shire of Cuballing has been extended from 19th April 2022 to Monday 2nd May 2022. Extension of Prohibited Burning Period

The Shire of Cuballing, in accordance with Section 17 (7) of the Bush Fires Act (1954), has extended the Prohibited Burning Period for 14 days to 15 March 2022. The Restricted Burning Period would now commence on 16 March 2022. Fire Control Officers in the Shire believe that the seasonal conditions are such that delaying the commencement of the prohibited burning period is justified. DFES supports the decision. The Shire of Cuballing is offering for sale the following abandoned vehicles: Blue Holden Commodore Sedan Conditions of Sale The abandoned vehicle are being sold on “as is – where is” basis. No guarantees or warranty provided. Inspections of equipment is strongly encouraged. Photographs of the vehicles are available on the Shire of Cuballing website. The abandoned vehicles are located at the Shire of Cuballing Depot, Austral Street, Cuballing. The abandoned vehicle must be collected from this site during normal business hours. Offers for purchase are sought until 4pm, Tuesday 31st August 2021. Written offers are required for all abandoned vehicles. To be eligible to vote in local government elections, you need to be either a resident, an eligible non-resident owner or non-resident occupier of rateable property in the Shire of Cuballing or a nominee of a body corporate that owns or occupies rateable property in the Shire of Cuballing.
