4 Aged Housing Units for Cuballing
As part of a larger regional project, the Shire of Cuballing will receive $1,062,000 from Royalties to Regions to construct 4 two bedroom independent living units in Cuballing in 2018/19.
Yesterday in Wickepin Terry Redman, the State Minister for Regional Development and Lands, announced the funding for the Wheatbelt South Aged Housing Alliance (WSAHA) Aged Housing Project.
The WSAHA Aged Housing Project will construct 38 independent living units across the region.
The $12,977,555 project will enable the growing number of older people in our region to remain living in their local communities close to family, friends and support networks.
The WSAHA encompasses eight local governments including the Shires of Corrigin, Cuballing, Kondinin, Kulin, Narembeen, Narrogin, Wandering and Wickepin
The Shire of Cuballing will construct and maintain the 4 rental units to be located on Austral Street Cuballing.
