Draft Community Strategic Plan

Council is seeking feedback on a Draft Community Strategic Plan.  The Draft Plan seeks to outline a long-term vision for the Shire of Cuballing.

The Community Strategic Plan is an overarching plan that will guide the future direction of Council’s policies, plans, projects and decision making for the next ten years. 

The Draft Strategic Community Plan is structured around four themes.  Each theme has associated goals, strategies and outcomes which success will be measured against.

  • Social: Our community, neighbourhoods, recreation and culture
  • Environment: Our environment, resource management and services
  • Economic: Our economy, infrastructure, systems, services and management
  • Civic Leadership: Our Council, services, policies and engagement

The draft Plan is available in the Shire of Cuballing office or on the Shire of Cuballing website. 

In reviewing the Draft Community Strategic Plan, Council is seeking public comment through:

1      a survey of the priorities and performance of the Shire of Cuballing.  The survey can be completed:

  • on line at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GHRLGXY. This link is available on the Shire of Cuballing website and Facebook page; or
  • In written form on the survey form included in the Cuballing News and submitted to the Shire Office. Additional survey forms can also be obtained from the Shire Office. 

2    written comments on the draft Plan can be submitted by:

  • email to enquiries@cuballing.wa.gov.au
  • mail to Shire of Cuballing, PO Box 13, CUBALLING WA  6311
  • dropped into the Shire Office in Campbell Street, Cuballing.

Submissions and surveys should be received/completed by Thursday 24 August 2017.
