Welcome to the Shire of Cuballing


Welcome

Cuballing is situated 192km south-east of Perth. The district covers 1250 square kilometres in the Central Wheatbelt area with a population of approximately 890.

Embracing the townships of Cuballing, Popanyinning and Yornaning the Cuballing district, "Dryandra Country", has within its boundary 17,500 hectares of Dryandra State Forest.

Step into Spring

Do you have what it takes to win the Step into Spring Challenge? Step into Spring is a FREE two month physical activity challenge between Wheatbelt Shires. Participants will record their physical activity during the challenge and virtually walk around the Wheatbelt.

The challenge starts 1st September and commences on 31st October 2008. NOMINATE NOW by entering as an individual or as a group. To collect a nomination form, please contact the Shire on 9883 6031 or cdo@cuballing.wa.gov.au.

Nominations close on Friday, 22 August.

2008 Giant Walk

The Shire of Cuballing will once again take part in the GIANT Walk and try and reclaim our 2006 Guinness World Record attempt from Canada!

Cuballing Recreation Centre

12 noon

A sausage sizzle will be held for participants after the walk at the Recreation Centre. Please contact the Shire to put your name down for the 2008 GIANT Walk.
