Under the Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program, the Australian Government will provide one-off funding of $100,000 to the Shire in 2008-09.

The Council has identified the following projects to be undertaken within the Shire of Cuballing.

MEN'S SHED INITIATIVE - The Cuballing Men's Shed project is an exciting proposal looking at establishing a shed for the Cuballing community and surrounding Shires to utilise the facility for restoring vintage machinery, building furniture, encouraging social interaction, etc.

CUBALLING RV FRIENDLY INITIATIVE - the opportunity to implement the RV Friendly Town initiative is open to all cities and towns that recognise the advantages increased tourism will bring to our community.

YORNANING WATER HARVEST - the proposed project involves harvesting water from the CBH Yornaning facility to the Shire's recreation dam.
